      Frequently asked questions

How do I extract pages from a PDF?

Choose your PDF, pick what you want to do, type the page numbers (for example 1-3, 5, 8-10) and click the button. Then download the result.

How do I write page numbers?

Separate pages with commas and use a dash for ranges: “1-3, 5, 8-10”. “7-” means page 7 to the end.

      Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. FileCrafty edits the PDF in your browser, so your documents never leave your device.

      Is the original file changed?

No. The tool creates a new PDF and leaves your original file exactly as it was.

What does “Split into one PDF per page” do?

It creates a separate PDF for every page (or only for the pages you list). Download them individually or all together as a ZIP.
